YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW

It is important to sow good seeds because when we do, we will reap a good harvest. On the other hand, when we sow bad seeds, we will find ourselves receiving a bad harvest. Let me try to clarify this: if you sow love, you will receive love. If you sow hate, you will receive hate. What are you planting? Are you planting seeds that will nourish and grow in the Lord? Or, are you planting seeds of discord? We must take precautions regarding what we plant. Do not plant ungodly seeds for you will reap an ungodly harvest. When you plant roots that are rooted in the love of the Lord, your harvest will reap bountiful blessings. Galatians 6:9.

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Paul says we will harvest what we plant. He takes planting and reaping seriously. He calls believers to live and to please the Spirit, not wanting them to get tired in doing good. Paul writes that whenever we have the opportunity, we should be good to all, especially those in the family of faith. He wants them to pay special attention to their own lives for they are personally responsible for their conduct. Paul clearly states that every believer has responsibilities and obligations and should seek to live by the Spirit, for they will be blessed to see their harvest of sowing good seeds multiply and find favor with God. Only you can answer the question: “What kind of seeds are you sowing?”
