WE WERE NOT MEANT TO LIVE ALONE

As I write this devotion, I cannot help but reflect on the years of 2020 – 2021.  During those years we dealt with so much isolation. Even now, as we still deal with separation from family and friends because of the ongoing virus, we must remember that God did not mean for us to live alone.  We need one another.  Family and friends are important.  Worship is important so that we can fellowship with one another.
What a blessing it is to know that God created us so that we may have relationships! In Genesis 2:18, we find these words:

Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will
make a helper who is just right for him.”

We see here that when God created man, He felt man should not be alone. In the 21st verse, we find that the Lord made a woman from the rib of the man — bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. We are joined together, and His desire is for us to appreciate the blessing that is given to us that we might journey together and not feel alone. Thank God today that He created us in a way that connects us to one another. Be appreciative that He created us so we would not have to live alone.
