In these difficult days in which we are living, we cannot make it without God’s strength. We need His strength as we seek to handle all of life’s trials and troubles. The strength He gives provides us the opportunity to live victorious lives. We have no strength on our own. Thanks be unto God that His strength is adequate and sufficient to meet every challenge that comes our way. We can deal with the burdens that come to us because of the strength that He provides us. We can do all things through Him who strengthens us. We cannot make it by ourselves. Whatever you are faced with, ask God for strength. Not only will it help you, but it will give you the ultimate victory! In Psalm 105:4, we find these words:

“Search for the LORD and for His strength; continually seek him.”

Here the psalmist calls upon the people to search for the Lord for His strength. The psalmist is well aware of God’s greatness. In the first verse he says, “Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done. Sing to Him; yes, sing His praises. Tell everyone about His wonderful deeds.” The psalmist wants the people to worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness and not to forget the wonders He has already done. The psalmist goes on further in this psalm to explain that the Lord is strong and mighty in battle. The 45th verse of the psalm simply ends with the words, “Praise the Lord!” Praise the Lord today for the strength He gives to us in our time of need.
