We fall down, but we get back up.  Believers will get knocked down at times, but when we are strong in the Lord, we can get back up.  We may be down, but it is good for us to know that when we get knocked down we do not have to stay down. We can get back up, dust ourselves off, and start all over again. We are aware that troubles will come, but when we have God on our side, who can pick us up and renew our strength, we can get back in the race. In 2 Corinthians 4:9,we read these words:

We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed

Paul makes it clear that although the people were pressed on every side by troubles, they were not crushed.  Although they were perplexed, they were not driven to despair. We know that we get knocked down, but Paul says we will not be destroyed. We can remain strong so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in us. We have the assurance that He who got up from the grave will also pick us up. So, remember when you get knocked down, make sure to get back up because the Lord is with us!
