The blood of Jesus has cleansed us of our sins. We have been healed by His precious blood. We have been set free. God set us free indeed. Not because of anything that we have done, but because of His great love for us. He has redeemed us from the penalty of sin. We are free from guilt and shame. What can wash away our sins? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make us whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Thanks be unto God today that “The Blood Sill Works!” In Isaiah 53:5, we find these words:

“But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

Here in this moving passage of Scripture we see how the Lord offered Himself as a vessel so that we could be healed. He never turned His back on us. Isaiah says that all of us, like sheep have strayed away from God’s path, but the Lord has forgiven all our sins. He was oppressed and treated harshly but never said a word. Praise God today that the Master, our Savior, bled and died that we might be set free. By His stripes, we are healed!
