Every believer is valuable to God. There are no VIPs (Very Important People) in the family of God. All of us have equal value in the eyes of God, and that’s good news! Some people live their lives based on what others think and say about them, and they live according to those expectations. Then, there are those who do the opposite of what people say about them. People say that they will never amount to anything, but by God’s grace, they make something of themselves anyhow. I, myself, once heard those words but I thank God today for His grace. No matter what others may think or say, I know that I’m a child of God. I’m loved by Him, I’m blessed by Him, and I’m valuable to Him. And guess what? I’m not alone. We are all valuable to God! Hallelujah! In Luke 12:6, we read these words:

“What is the price of five sparrows – two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them.”

Jesus speaks about the value God has granted us. He says that the value that He places on the sparrow is the same value that He places on every one of His children. When you get a chance read this entire chapter. Prayerfully, it will help reassure us to know how valuable we are to God. He loves us unconditionally with a love that will never ever let go. We can rejoice knowing that we are created, redeemed, and loved by God! And we are valuable to Him!
