WALK WITH INTEGRITY
Earlier this year, I preached a sermon about living with integrity. The word “integrity” speaks volumes about our lives. We must walk with integrity in our daily lives, living lives that are honorable unto God. We must not do things that would not please God. We must have integrity and be above reproach when it comes to our finances, our relationships, our homes, and our families, as well as the way in which we serve God. If we pray and ask God for it, He will grant to us the strength to maintain integrity so that when we are tempted to go astray, we will be mindful of “integrity.” Integrity is crucial and critical to our everyday walk. We must honor God with our lifestyle — not only by what we say, but by what we do. In Proverbs 10:9, we find these words:
“People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.”
The writer speaks about the need to live according to the will of God. He makes it clear that those who follow Him will be brought to light. The godly will be showered with blessings. He indicates that the words of the godly are like a life-giving fountain, saying that one’s daily walk must always emphasize walking with humility and integrity, because this pleases God. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. It consists of thirty-two verses, each one speaking of living a life with integrity. These verses also provide the opposite meaning, living a life that has little or no value. Prayerfully, you have chosen, as I have, to walk with integrity every step of the way.
