It is crucial and critical for us as a people of God to walk in the way of the Lord. The Lord knows the plans He has for us. We cannot deviate or we will go astray. We must follow the Lord every step of the way. The Lord knows the path we take and is able to bless every step that we take. What a blessing it is to know that when we walk with Him He walks with us. He never leaves nor forsakes us. Look back over your life and see how the Lord has been with you every step of the way. The Scripture lesson today is from Isaiah 30:21 and it speaks clearly about the need to walk in the way of the Lord:

“Your own ears will hear Him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go, whether to the right or to the left.”

Here we see how the Lord directs His people. In this chapter, we read about the blessings the Lord has in store for them. They put their whole trust in Him. The Lord will speak to them, and they should hear His voice. He will tell them the way they should go, whether to the right or to the left. He wants to show them His compassion. Isaiah says, “The Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for His help.” He will be gracious to you when you walk in His way.
