WALK IN FAITH

Walk In Faith

As a people of God, we are called upon to walk in faith. Our walk with God is a faith walk. We walk by faith and not by sight. Walking by faith with God will produce great results. He knows the way we take, and He is able to take us through. We cannot have a weak and feeble faith, but faith that is strong. In Genesis 12:2, we read our devotional text for the day:

“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”

This is a wonderful passage of scripture. The Lord told Abram to leave his country, his father’s home, and to go to a land that He promised to give. Abram was told that a great nation would come, and he would be blessed. Abram left his country walking by faith, not knowing where he was going. He trusted God all the way. Abraham trusted God and God blessed him bountifully. Read this familiar story when you get a chance. Where is God calling you to walk and to leave your comfortable surroundings? Trust Him enough to go another spiritual level. Prayerfully, you are willing to walk even though you may not know exactly where you are going. Know that God knows the way. I can say for myself that I am walking with God. When I started writing these devotions, I did not know what the end would be. However, I watched God bless my inadequacies and turn them into blessings. It is no secret as to what God can do. What He has done for others He will for you, too.
