This Christian race is a faith journey. As God’s people, we walk by faith and not by sight. We know beyond the shadow of doubt that without faith it is impossible to please God. Having faith in God means to depend on Him even when we do not know the outcome. Our faith in God provides us with courage and strength for life’s journey. There are many uncertainties, yet, we know our God never changes. Growing our faith is vital to our relationship with God. Every now and then, we need to look back and see how our faith has grown. Some or our experiences have caused us to really depend on God. We have a frame of reference and know what God is able to do. We come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord,” a songwriter wrote.  II Corinthians 5:7 reads:

“For we live by believing and not by seeing.”

The Apostle Paul deals with life’s challenges. In this chapter, Paul speaks of the new bodies we have when he writes that we grow weary in our present bodies. He speaks of being confident and is content to die and be with the Lord. He knows that whatever state he is in, he is in God’s hands. He writes of being of good courage and walking by faith. Walking by faith does not imply walking in the dark but means that we have a deeper vision than the world’s vision. Our trust and dependence is in God, knowing that nothing can separate us from His love. Prayerfully, you have discovered the joy of walking by faith, trusting God all the way knowing that you are never alone. Know that God is with you every step of the way. Let me add these last few words of this devotion; as we walk by faith, let us be content as we trust God.
