Waiting on the Lord can be difficult for many of us. We live in a society where we want everything now. But God has called us to wait. They that wait on the Lord shall be renewed in strength. This is a blessing that most of us need. We pray that God will give us the strength to wait on Him, but sometimes we act before we hear from the Lord. Before you read any more of this devotion, ask God to give you the ability to wait on Him.  No matter what you are going through, wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart! In Isaiah 40:31,we find these words:

 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.

The prophet declares the Lord will strengthen those who trust in Him. In this chapter, the prophet also declares that the people can put their trust and faith in God. He indicates that the Lord is everlasting. He never gets weary. No one can measure His strength and power. Praise God for those who wait on the Lord! I conclude with this: “Wait on the Lord until your change comes. God can bless you even while you wait!”
