God has given all His believers gifts that can be used for His glory. The question is: are we using those gifts for the glory of God? We cannot be envious or jealous of someone else’s gift. Each of us have been blessed by God to receive a gift and those gifts must be used. Many believers do not know what their gifts are, and consequently, they are not using them. On the other hand, there are those who know what their gifts are, but they are not using them. So again, the question becomes do we each know our gifts,
and if so, are we using them? If you are aware of your gift, be grateful. In Romans 12:6, we find these words:

“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.”

Paul writes that each one has been given different gifts. Some may have the gift of serving others, while some may have the gift of teaching. Still others may have the gift of encouraging others, while others have the gift of giving. Paul is simply telling us to use our gifts. Whatever gift the Lord has provided, we are to use it to the best of our ability. Read this entire chapter, then identify your gift. Once identified, each of us must use that gift to the glory of God!
