We serve an on-time God.  There are some sayings about God’s timing, such as, “He’s an on-time God” or “His time is not ours.” But we must trust God’s timing. We must wait on the Lord and be of good courage, knowing that He will strengthen our hearts. He may not come the exact moment that we call Him, but He will always be there right on time. He will open the doors that need to be opened, and He will close the doors that need to be closed. We can always count on Him; but remember, we must always trust God’s timing. We should never let ourselves get weary of well doing, for in due time, we shall reap the harvest.  In Habakkuk 2:3, we find these words:

“This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.”

The prophet indicates that the Lord said to him, “Write my answer plainly on tablets so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.” The prophet obeyed God’s wishes. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Prayerfully, this passage of scripture will help all of us to trust God’s timing. He will never let us down!
