Whatever trials and tribulations we are dealing with today, they shall soon pass. Thanks be unto God that trouble don’t last always. We need to remind ourselves that these troubles are just temporary, and therefore we don’t have to look as though we have been defeated. We cannot allow our troubles to make us feel that there is no way out. Faith allows us to know that God is sufficient to meet our every need.
In 2 Corinthians 4:18, we find these words:

“So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

The humble servant of the Lord is confident that his troubles will not last. This chapter shows us why we should never give up. Our troubles are not larger than God’s grace and mercy for us. His grace and mercy will be with us always. Paul put his trust in the Lord and preached with confidence that his troubles would be short lived. When we are faced with life’s’ problems, I pray that we will all have that same faith. In those times, may we all put our trust in the Lord so that we can say with confidence, “this too shall pass,” knowing that God will supply all our needs
