It is true: so one thinketh so he is. That is why it is essential that you think like a winner. Never think that you are defeated. If you think that way, surely you will be defeated. Think as one being victorious because we serve a victorious God. Claim the victory before the victory even happens. Know that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and that you will come out on the winning side when you stand up for God. All of us will face battles. We can triumph over our battles if we believe in the God who will grant the victory to us. Yes, we are on the winning side. There is no failure in God. The battle is not ours but the Lord’s, because we are the Lord’s. We are winners every time. The scripture lesson for today is Galatians 6:9.

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Here in this moving passage of scripture, Paul speaks of being on the Lord’s side. He does not want his fellow believers to give up, but that they continue to fight the good fight. At the right time, God will grant them a harvest of blessings if they do not give up. Paul tells them that whenever they have opportunity, be good to everyone especially those in the faith. He tells them that they will harvest what they plant.  These were Paul’s final words of advice. Paul knew that regardless of his experiences, he was a true winner having been crucified in Christ and Christ living within Him. He has some scars on his body, but he was truly not a beaten warrior, but a winning warrior. Know that your labor is not in vain. In the end, you will not only reap a blessing, you will come out like a winner. Do everything that pleases God and he will surely bless you as He blessed Paul.
