As believers, God is always seeking to change our lives. We are not the way we were. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, a wonderful change takes place over time and we become more willing to acknowledge Christ in our lives. We hear Paul the humble servant of the Lord say, “For the good that I would, I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.” That is my journey and I know that I am not alone. Thanks be unto God, today, that He is able to bring about the change in our lives that allows us to be made right with Him. The scripture lesson for today is II Corinthians 5:21.

“For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

In this deep and moving passage, Paul clearly states that Christ, who never sinned, took our place so that we might be right with God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In this chapter, Paul speaks of reconciliation. He calls upon the people whom he loves to offer themselves fully and freely knowing that God is at work in the lives of His people. Christ reconciled the world to Himself no longer holding sin against His people – a wonderful display of reconciliation. We are Christ’s ambassadors. I pray that you will continue the process, knowing that the process works. May you be blessed today by the power of God and know that beyond a shadow of a doubt you are a work in process.
