Our Holy God has power beyond measure. There is nothing impossible with Him (Luke 1:37), for with God all things are possible (Matt 19:26). He can heal the sick, give sight to the blind, open doors that are closed, and make ways out of no way. Many of us have experienced His power. We can say without a doubt, that not only is His power great, but it is also far reaching. In Psalm 22:3, we find these words:

Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.”

The psalmist opens this chapter with an appeal to God. He feels desolate and all alone. His cries are sorrowful as a result of his affliction, yet his trust in God is deep. He knows that God inhabits the praises of His people, and he also knows that God sits on His Holy Throne with power in His hands. It is my prayer today that in the midst of our trials and tribulations, we will never forget the power of God. We can call on Him no matter what we are going through, knowing He is always near and will deliver us. There is power in His name!
