The Lord loves us unconditionally, His love for us is forever. He never stops loving us. Day by day, His love is always there. His love for us spreads to our children, and to our children’s children. We can count on His love from generation to generation. His faithfulness never stops. What a blessing it is to know that the Lord’s love is forever! Sometimes people love us conditionally — meaning they love us as long as we do the things that please them. If our actions do not meet their expectations, they stop expressing love towards us. But God loves us unconditionally, even when we act like we do not love Him! In Psalm 90:4, we find these words:

“For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours.”

The psalmist gives God thanks. He said that even before the mountains were born, God was the Father of the earth. He acknowledges that from the beginning to the end, He is God, and He never changes.  No one can comprehend the power of God’s love. His love is everlasting! The psalmist acknowledges the love of God with all his heart, soul, and mind. He is grateful and thankful that he has received the Lord’s love and he knows full well that God’s love is extended to all. The love of the Lord will never end. Prayerfully, we have all come to understand, like the psalmist, that the Lord’s love for us is forever. Give thanks to Him for His unconditional, everlasting love!
