What a blessing it is to know that God never slumbers nor sleeps. He’s always watching over us. He is always there to lead and guide us — all we have to do is look to Him. He will protect us with His power and grant us His love and mercy. He never stops caring for us. He knows exactly where we are every second of our lives — He never lets us out of His sight. This should cause us to shout right now! In Psalms 32:8, we find these words:

“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you’.”

The psalmist begins this chapter, in Psalm 32:1, by simply saying, “Oh what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, who sin is put out of sight.”  The psalmist shares the strength and power of God. He confesses his sins before God, in Psalm 32:5, saying, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” He calls on the people to pray, then, in Psalm 32:10, he said, “Rejoice in the Lord and be glad…  shout for joy.”  That is exactly what we should do … Rejoice!  Nobody but God can love us the way God loves us. Nobody can care for us the way God cares for us. Nobody can watch over us the way God watches over us.  Praise God today that He always watches over us!
