Whenever you see confusion, know that God is not present. God has a peace that passeth all understanding. There is nothing like the peace of God. So many lives are damaged because of confusion. Families are separated because there seems to be no sense of unity. Marriages are destroyed as a result of disharmony. We always need to look to God who will grant perfect peace to us for our minds are stayed on Him. Today’s scripture reference is found in I Corinthians 14:33.

“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.”

In this deep and moving passage of scripture, Paul makes it clear that God is not the author of confusion. He writes that He is a God of peace and all houses of worship should honor God. Paul knows that all the things done in God’s House should edify God’s people and there is no place for confusion. Paul’s crucial teaching on this was due to the tension and disharmony in the church and that this displeased God. He writes from his heart. I pray that you are not causing confusion in the church, your home or any other place you may be. Honor God with words that edify and not destroy.
