THE LORD IS ALWAYS THERE TO RECEIVE US

Today’s devotion is in line with yesterdays, where we spoke about the need to check our “blind spot.” If we check our blind spot, and find that we are still filled with sin, the Lord is always there to receive us and to remove our blind spot. He is there to welcome us into the marvelous light. He invites us all to come to Him — all who are weary and worn, as well as all who have sinned and come short of the glory of God. It is never too late to come to Jesus. God is always there to receive us. Sometimes we make the mistake of giving up on people, but God never gives up on us! He is always there with a welcoming arm of love to receive us. If you have not already done so, today is a good day for you to give your life to Christ. He is there to receive you and to welcome you! In John 6:37, we find these words:

“However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.”

Jesus, the Master Teacher, is speaking to His disciples. He tells them that whoever comes to Him will never be hungry, and whoever believes in Him will never be thirsty. He also lets them know that He has come down from heaven to do the will of God, and that it is God’s will that no one should be lost. He will never give up on, or reject, anyone. The greatest invitation is from our Lord and Savior who stands ready to receive us with open arms full of compassion, salvation, love, grace, and mercy. Those who are willing, can come to Him. There is always room. I pray that each of us have already received the invitation. If not, today could be a good day.
