As we walk day by day with God we pray earnestly that we are grounded in the Word, for the Gospel is a ground of confidence and the good news we need.  We especially need to hear this good news in these crucial and critical times when so much of the news we hear is distressing.  We pray even now that we will walk by faith and not by sight, and we will know the God we serve has all power.  We can be assured God is working our behalf each day. There is nothing to fear for the God we serve can do all things and do all things well.  As a people of God, we are called to live by faith.  Faith takes us to places we have never been.  Faith takes us out of our comfort zone and at times makes us uncomfortable. There is a portion of scripture in Romans 1:17 that speaks about the righteousness of God and how we are to walk:

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”

Here Paul the servant of the Lord defines the nature of the Gospel.  It is a faith journey and the foundation by which we live and move.  This Gospel declares the activity of God, which provides deliverance of His people.  It proclaims the righteousness of God.  Paul lifts up this significant word of faith.  We know according to the Word of God that without faith it is impossible to please God.  It is my hope today that no matter what you are going through, or how many trials and troubles you have; you are walking by faith, trusting and believing in God.
