Most of the news that we listened to on the radio and/or watched on the television has been full of sorrow and pain.  The reports are either about some form of violence that has occurred or involves some sort of tragedy.  Today, I am sharing good news! We need the news that deals with everyday life, but we also need the good news I will share with you in this devotion. In Romans 10:9,find these words:

If you openly declare that Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

What good news! We all need to pay attention to this. The right to salvation is for everyone.  Anyone who confesses Jesus as Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, shall be saved. Faith comes from hearing — hearing the good news about salvation.  This message of salvation is a gift from God. Everyone, regardless of their background, who confesses their sins and acknowledges Jesus as Lord, shall be saved.  We should all read this entire chapter, confess our sins to the Lord, and ask for salvation.  It’s that simple. Now that’s good news!
