I remember the words of a song sung by the Men’s Choir, “All the Glory Belongs to You Oh God.”   These words are so true. All the glory belongs to God. Unfortunately, there are some who have the idea that the glory belongs to them. Some tend to boast about positions held, titles obtained, items bought, etc. but they forget to mention who made it possible.  Whatever we have, and all that we have accomplished, is because of God. We cannot take credit for anything. It is God, and God alone, who deserves the glory for all the things He has done. Lord knows, I am grateful and thankful for all that He has done for me. What about you? In Psalm 26:8,we find these words:

I love your sanctuary, LORD, the place where your glorious presence dwells.

The psalmist is grateful for the blessings God has given him while in the sanctuary, where he acknowledges the glorious presence of God. He is aware of God’s unfailing love and wants to live according to His Word.  He also recognizes there is nothing he can do to prevent the presence of the Lord in his life.  He asks God to redeem him He wants fellow believers to know how grateful and thankful he is for all that God has done for him. Read this entire psalm when you get a chance. Prayerfully, you will recognize, as I have, that all that we have belongs to God, and because of that, all the glory belongs to Him. Give God praise!  
and show him mercy so that he can publicly praise Him.
