We thank God for His love.  His love is an amazing love. There is nothing like the Father’s love, for it is unconditional. He loves us even when we make a mess out of our lives. His love is still presently active, working on our behalf. No one can love us like our God. Take the time today to thank God for His unbelievable love. Our scripture reference for this devotion speaks about His love in Matthew 18:12:

“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?”

Here, we have the parable of the lost sheep where our heavenly Father has so much concern for each and every sheep that He will leave the ninety-nine to go after the one. His love is relentless and never loses an opportunity to demonstrate His concern and care. Some people will not help others, even if the need is right in their face, and here we see, the Father is so loving that He will go on a hunt to make sure we are safe.
