Our God is able to do some extraordinary things. When we look back over our lives, we see the awesome power of God at work. Many can testify how God has transformed our lives, turning us around. It is utterly amazing what God can do. He can do all things, and do all things well. He speaks to us in ways that are beyond our own human understanding. In Exodus 3:4, our scripture for today, we find these words:

“When the LORD saw Moses coming to take a closer look, God called to him from the middle of the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’”

The writer indicates that God called Moses by name, out of a burning bush. When this vision speaks, God confirms His presence. Moses was in awe, and simply said, “Here am I.” Moses was standing on Holy Ground and he hid his face, not in shame, but in fear. This symbol of reverence and holiness in the midst of a burning bush is extraordinary and mind boggling. That God could speak through a blaze is amazing! It is my fervent prayer today that you take the time to look over your life and simply say that God is amazing. We are living witnesses that He not only has incredible power, but extraordinary power!
