The Lord has opened the door for His people to receive Him. No one is ever turned away from the Lord; His door is always open. Our sins may be as scarlet, but He will make them white as snow.  The greatest invitation we have is to come to Him and find rest and forgiveness. Thank God for the many who walk through that door! I am one of them, and I know I am not alone. He opened His door to me, and I walked in, and I have never been the same. I felt His arms around me, His love surrounded me, and for that, I give Him praise!  In John 10:9, we find these words:

Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.

The Master is speaking about how the Good Shepherd cares for His sheep. There were those who did not fully understand His illustration, so He explained it further in verse 10 saying, “I will tell
you the truth. I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers.  But the true sheep did not listen to them.” Jesus explained that the thief’s purpose was to steal, kill and destroy, but the purpose of the Good Shepherd was to give them a rich and satisfying life.  Read this entire chapter when you get a chance. Thank God His door is always open!
