There is so much beauty in worship. We gather for worship to feel the power and presence of God. What a wonderful feeling it is to be able to say, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.” Something happens when we are gazing at the glory of the Lord. We can acknowledge the goodness and kindness of the Lord in our prayers, songs, and words of comfort. Of course, worship is not confined to a day or to a place; we can worship God every day. Our scripture reference for this devotion speaks clearly about the beauty of worship in Psalm 95:6:

“Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker.”

To understand that the Lord is your maker is to understand that everything you have and everything you are is because of Him. When we think of the goodness of Jesus and all He has done for us, we should shout, “Hallelujah!” It is a blessing to have the right mind to give God the praise and see the beauty of worshiping Him.
