Thank God today for His mercy! His mercy woke us up this morning and started us on our way. This is nothing new. Every day, God gives us mercy. Morning by morning, new mercies we see. What a wonderful, marvelous, powerful God we serve! We all need His mercy. We cannot live without it, and when we find ourselves in trouble, we can call on God for mercy. We say, “Lord have mercy “as a prayer, and He answers. I am grateful that every time I needed God’s mercy, He gave it to me. When I was
slipping and sliding, I needed His mercy and He never failed me. In Psalm 94:18, we find these words:

“I cried out, ‘I am slipping!’ but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me.’”

The psalmist needed God’s mercy. He also recognized the Lord was there to support him. The Lord will not reject His people nor abandon them. When the evildoers came upon him, the psalmist cried out to God and God blessed him. When you get a chance read this entire psalm, then thank God for His mercy!
