God has given us the armor to live a victorious life. We must walk by faith knowing that He is a shield of protection. We must have faith to believe that we are more than conquerors through Him. We must have faith to believe that all things are possible. We must have faith to believe that when our enemies come against us, the shield of faith will protect us. We must have faith that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. All things can be accomplished with faith. In Ephesians 6:16, we find these words:

“In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.”

Paul indicates that one should put on the whole armor of God, then stand firm against all strategies of the devil to stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to the shield of faith, put on salvation as your helmet and take the sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God. This is how we can stop the arrows the devil sends our way. God said: “Pray in the spirit, at all times, on every occasion.” We must stay alert, be persistent and take the shield of faith with us, no matter the situation, knowing that we can be victorious. No weapon formed against us shall prosper! I pray today that we take the shield of faith with us wherever we go.
