Believers of faith must be strong in the Lord; we cannot have weak faith. Our faith must be strong so that we can handle life’s ups and downs.  Faith in God is required — we cannot make it without continued work on our faith so that we can grow.   Strong faith gives us hope, confidence, trust, and belief in God that no matter what life brings our way, we know the Lord will make a way. I know that my faith in God is strong, and I know that He is able, no matter what the situation!  If we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains.  But that faith must coincide with our ability to continue to grow stronger. In Genesis 39:21,we find these words:

“But the LORD was with Joseph in the prison and showed him his faithful love.  And the LORD made Joseph a favorite with the prison warden.”

Joseph never lost his faith and trust in God. God was with Joseph and blessed
him, granting him favor so that he would succeed. Of all the king’s prisoners,
the warden chose Joseph to oversee everything that happened in prison. Read this familiar story to see how the Lord blessed Joseph, moving him from the prison to the palace. That is what strong faith in God will do!
