STAND ON THE WORD
Whatever we do, we must be confident in the Word of God. We must believe with all our heart that the Word is true and will not fail, even when all else fails. When you do not know what to do, stand on God’s Word, for He will not leave or forsake you. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Stand firm on the Word of God. The scripture found in Acts 17:11:
“Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.”
The people of God are called to search the scripture daily and stand on God’s Word. Be ready to declare the Word of God. Be diligent in your quest to understand the Word. There is nothing more honorable than knowing God’s Word. Know in whom you believe. Receive instruction for daily living. Read the Word so that you may become all that God will have you to be. Paul wanted them to stir up their gifts within them and to be grounded in the Word of God. With all the doctrines, it is important for us to know the Word for ourselves so that we will not be sifted like sand, but be grounded in the Rock, Christ Jesus. Read the Word daily and apply it to your life.
