From the book of Isaiah, we realize that God is doing some new and glorious things in the lives of His people. We need to be ready to receive whatever God has for us. It does not yet appear what Blessings are waiting for us. I am always on my tiptoes waiting for God to do some new and exciting thing. Every day God is going to do something new. What a blessing it is to know that blessings are on the way, no matter what life has. No matter the difficulty, God’s promise is that we will be blessed beyond our own understanding. As we turn our attention to Isaiah 43:19, the prophet Isaiah says these words:

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

The army was sent against Babylon, a body of free people. Isaiah reminds the people that the Lord opened the waters, creating the blessings of rivers in the dry wasted land. He reminds them of all their blessings but there are none compared to the blessing of the promise of victory the Lord is about to bless the people with. The people honor the Lord for how He is going to Bless them. Prayerfully, you will honor Him for how He is going to bless you as well.
