Something Bigger

God is so great that He grants His favor to us. He gives us blessings that we cannot even imagine. He uses us for His glory and reveals His presence to us to prepare us for what He would have us to do. He has something bigger in store for us; something bigger and better. In His presence is where we will find the fullness of His joy. In Exodus 3:6, we find these words:

“‘I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ When Moses heard this, he covered his face because he was afraid to look at God.”

Moses heard God speaking from the middle of a burning bush. Moses hid his face, not in shame, but in fear. His reverence for God caused him to be speechless. God was about to use him to do something big: he was going to deliver God’s people out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them to the Promised Land. We never know how God is going to use us. I believe with all my heart that God has assignments for each of us to carry out. He wants to use us in a miraculous way. Moses was not blameless, but God still used him. We should make ourselves available for God to use today. He will make something bigger
out of our lives.
