There are some things about God that we will never ever know. We thank God for the
insight He has given to us, but at the same time, there are still many mysteries that we
really do not understand. We will never know His ways because His ways are not our
ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We can never claim that we know all
about God. We thank Him for what we do know and pray that each day we learn more
and more. We must also be content in knowing that there are some things about God
that will remain a mystery, yet we must honor Him as being our Great God.
In Ecclesiastes 11:5, find these words:
“Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.”
Here the writer talks about things that we do not understand, such as the movement of the wind, or how a baby grows in the mother’s womb. Some things of God we will never understand. Think about the farmer who waits for perfect weather to plant his crop. Waiting for that perfect day, he may never plant. On the other hand, there is the farmer who puts his faith and trust in God and plants his crop despite the weather. When you get a chance, read this entire chapter. Prayerfully we are all learning to trust God even for the things that we do not know.
