RIGHTEOUS LIVING
I have said on many occasions, I love the book of Proverbs. This book of wisdom gives us instructions for daily living. The verses are not long, but they are deep and profound. Each verse guides us into our day-to-day living. We learn how to live a righteous life when we follow the writings in this book. God has called us to live a holy and righteous life, pleasing unto Him. We can live a righteous life when we apply the words to our lives. The scripture lesson is found today in Proverbs 20:7 of the Bible.
“The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them.”
What powerful words these are. Those who are godly not only walk upright with God but with humility and integrity. Their children are blessed as they follow them. The godly set godly examples before their children who see them living a life pleasing unto God. Their lives reflect their relationship with God. They are a blessing to their household and to those who know them. Prayerfully, today, you are living a righteous life and have made that commitment, and your life is a reflection of the wonderful Father’s love.
