I pray that whenever we need God’s help that we will take the time not only to pray to Him, but that we will also find rest. He promised never to leave nor forsake us, therefore we should rest well knowing that God will hear our prayer. Life’s troubles and trials can drain us, but we can find rest in His promise, His mercy, and His love.  In Job 11:18,we find these words:

Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety.

The writer makes clear that we can still rest despite what we are going through. We know that all our help comes from the Lord. We can trust in, lean on, and depend on God. God is with us always.  Morning by morning, new mercies we see. So, rest well knowing that God promised to never leave us!
