We can find rest in the arms of the Lord. In order to carry the heavy burdens of life, He gives us relief. All power is in His hands. His grace is sufficient regardless of the weight that we must bear at times. I have heard many a testimony from God’s people about how the Lord brought them through trials and troubles of life, and they were able to find rest in the midst of it all. Thank God today that we can find rest in the
arms of the Lord! In Matthew 11: 29 we find these words:

“Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Jesus, extends an invitation to all those who are weary, telling them that they will find rest in Him. He indicates that He has a humble and gentle heart and that He can bear their burdens because His Yoke is easy. All they have to do is come to Him; He will carry their burdens. This same scripture applies to us today. If our burdens are heavy, all we have to do is give them to the Lord. He alone is able to carry them. Accept His invitation and allow Him to bless your life. Find rest for your soul in Christ Jesus!
