REJOICE THIS DAY
Every morning I begin Church without Walls with these words, “This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” I believe with all my heart that we should rejoice in the Lord every day. We should give God praise every day. We should thank Him for all of His rich and generous Blessings. Morning by morning new mercies we see, giving us reason to rejoice. Do not let this day pass without rejoicing in the Lord. Whatever you do, make sure you spend time giving God thanks for this brand-new day. Acknowledge God for His Goodness, His Kindness, and His Love.
In Psalm 118:24, we find these words:
“This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
In the previous verse, the Lord is doing wonderful things. Throughout this psalm, the psalmist rejoices in the Lord, knowing that his faithfulness is endorsed forever. You are able to understand that the Lord is shining right upon him, and his people acknowledge that God is his God and he will forever praise Him. He is worthy to be praised! Morning, noon, and night let God know how grateful you are. This day is a gift. Give God thanks for the gift. Rejoice in Him!
