Thanks be to God for those who have reconciled with Him.  To accept His invitation
to give Him back our lives that were torn and tattered because of sin grants us a new and exciting way to live! When we seek God’s forgiveness, we reconcile with Him. We no longer need to live in shame and guilt. I’m so glad that I have reconciled with God. My sins have been forgiven and I’m free to live a holistic life. Others may remind me of things I have done in the past, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, God has heard my cry and has forgiven me. And for that I give God praise! Have you reconciled with God? Songwriters say that we should “Get right with God and do it now.” Don’t let another day pass that you are not reconciled with God. And when we reconcile with God, that also means that we should reconcile with one another.  We should no longer carry envy, bitterness, or malice in our hearts. God forgives us, so we must forgive others. In 2 Corinthians 5:18, we find these words:

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.

From this scripture we can see the blessings that come from reconciliation. God has forgiven us, and we have been given the responsibility of forgiving others. This message of reconciliation is the message for today. Receive it and be blessed.
