As believers, we must put on the whole armor of God. We must not fight with carnal weapons. We will lose every time. Never leave home without your armor on. In fact, I might add, never take your armor off, even in your home. For the flesh is weak and you will find yourself engaged in battle in a destructive way because you do not have your armor protecting you. Let me emphasize again, we have to put on the whole armor of God. The devil will come at us in many different ways. But, if we are equipped and fortified with the strength we need, we fight any battle that comes our way. Victory is ours to achieve when we have our armor on. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. Today’s scripture reference is Ephesians 6:14.

“Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.”

In this verse, we see a portion of this armor. Further, in this chapter we read of the entire armor of God; shoes put on for peace, salvation as a helmet, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. Paul emphasizes the need for the full armor to be put on so that we can be fully prepared. We are fighting rulers and powers of authority in dark worlds and evil spirits in heavenly places. Let me simply put it this way: do not leave home without your armor. When your armor is on, you can stand strong in the Lord. The Lord will give you victory every time.
