Whenever we pray, there must always be a great degree of faith. We cannot pray in doubt or disbelief, but our prayers must be rooted in a deep and abiding faith in a mighty God. Our belief in God allows us to know that God can do all things and do all things well. He can heal any sickness. He can give us power to overcome the enemy. There is nothing that our God cannot do when we pray while trusting in Him. Matthew 21:22 is our scripture reference today.

 “You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

The Master Teacher speaks to His disciples. He had just cursed the fig tree so that no fruit would come forth from that tree. The disciples were utterly amazed. Christ tells them that if they have faith and do not doubt they will do things like these and much more. Jesus emphasized the words faith and belief. I pray that you are able to pray believing and trusting in the power of God.
