Prayer Is Preparation

One of the wonderful blessings I receive comes from the gathering each morning with the Church Without Walls. It is our desire to begin each day in prayer. As God has granted us a day full of new mercies, we want to be prepared to receive what He has in store for us. When we gather from across the nation in prayer, it strengthens us individually and collectively. As we touch and agree, we know that the Lord is in our midst. In Acts 2:1, we find these words:

“On the day of Pentecostall the believers were meeting together in one place.”

On the day of Pentecost, the Power from on High came upon the people. Verse 2 says, “Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.” They received power and were amazed at how all the Jews from every nation were able to communicate in their native language, which was a result of the power of the Holy Spirit. We, The Church Without Walls, start each day with prayer. Not only are we prepared for what may come ahead, but we have the power to endure all that life brings. Thank God today for the power of prayer.
