As the people of God, we must give God praise for everything. Praise should be at the heart of all our prayers. Praise God for everything; for we know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord. Everything may not be going well now, but something good can come out of it. Give God praise even during the times of trouble! Always express thanksgiving to God; we must praise Him for everything! In James 5:13, we find these words:

“Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.”

Here, we see James giving God praise, even in the midst of his trials. When we experience the joys of life, we sing God’s praises. But we also need to praise God in
our bad times. As the scripture says, in our bad times is when we need to pray, but I believe with all my
heart that prayer and praise go together. How can we pray without giving God thanks? It is my fervent
prayer today that you have discovered the power of prayer and the blessings of praise. When the praises go up the blessings come down! May you be blessed today by the power of God, and may you always give Him praise!
