Thanks be unto God for He gives power to the faint. God blesses all those who are weary and worn. He fully knows that they will grow weary in doing His work and will. He provides them with the energy and power that they need to continue in this journey. For it is a journey and we are sometimes weary and worn. Doing the work of the Lord can be tedious and tough. Only the strong survive. Thanks be unto God who blesses us when we are tired and worn. The scripture today is found in Isaiah 40:29.

“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.”

In this deep and moving passage of scripture, the Prophet Isaiah writes about the everlasting power of God. God never grows weak or weary. His power is given to those who trust Him. He indicates that even youth will tire and fall exhausted, but God will renew them with His power. If you are weary today, know that God will grant to you His power. Just wait on Him. For those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. Thank God today! God will renew us and strengthen us for the journey ahead. Just trust God. Stay with God and never give up. He is right there to lift our heavy load.
