PAIN IS TEMPORARY

Yesterday I spoke of using pain for gain. Today, I am following up with Pain is Temporary. Whatever pain we suffer, it will not last. In other words, it shall pass. It will not be permanent. It will be for a brief period. We know that weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning. We know that God will make a way somehow. So, when you are dealing with pain, know that it is just for a season. We shall be able to get through because God will take us from pain to gain, from sorrow to joy. I know that for myself for I have had pain, as all of us have. But thanks be unto God, it did not last. Today’s scripture reference is Romans 5:5.

“And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.”

In this passage of scripture, the writer is writing about how faith brings joy, He says that we can rejoice when we run into problems and trials because we have endurance and it will only last for a brief period. However, joy will last forever. He writes that we know how much God loves us and gives us the Holy Spirit who fills our hearts with love. Even while going through pain we have the Holy Spirit filling us and blessing us. We can endure because we have that faith in Jesus Christ. We can hold on knowing that beyond a shadow of a doubt that this too shall pass. There is a brighter day coming. God’s tomorrow will be better than today. We have this hope and faith that God will grant us the victory and peace. Oh, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience life’s pain, just remember that the pain is just temporary.
