How wonderful it is to know that we are saved by grace! Thank God today for His amazing grace. It is a free gift that He gives. It is not something that we can earn or bargain for, but rather it is given to us by the Lord Himself. That is good for us always to remember for we often make the false assumption that our works can save us. We confuse grace with works. Let me put a disclaimer here. Even though works cannot save us, we should willingly do the work of the Lord. However, be clear. No amount of work will grant eternal life to us. The Word of God is clear in Ephesians 2:8, as we read:

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

Paul distinguishes grace from works. We cannot be saved by anything that we do. Our salvation is a gift of God that comes from faith as we believe and trust in the Lord. Paul states that God’s grace is not of our own doing, for it comes from the love of God. Paul teaches and preaches of this essential matter: grace. In other words, nothing we can boast about nothing regarding our work. Grace has been freely given to us. That ought to cause us all to shout and give God praise! Today, take a moment and say, “Thank you God for the grace that looks beyond our faults and sees our needs.” This grace is given to all who believe by faith. Tell others about the grace of God that has set you free. Where would we be without the grace of God? We would all be lost in our sin. Praise God for His grace has set us free.
