There are no words to express the power of God, for God has been so gracious and kind to us. His love for us is unfailing; our cups run over with His blessings. As we reflect upon His love and mercy, our hearts are running over with joy, for the joy of the Lord is our strength. There has never been a time when God has not been there for us. Morning, noon, and night, we have been covered by His grace and mercy.  As you read this devotion, take the time to reflect over your life and see the goodness of the Lord. It is truly amazing! We become speechless! In Psalms 23:5, we find these words:

“You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.”

The psalmist expresses his gratitude to God for renewing his strength.  He begins this psalm in verses 1 and 2 saying, “The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; He leads me beside peaceful streams…” His heart is filled with gladness and his cup is overflowing because of God’s tender love and mercy. Prayerfully today, each of our cups are overflowing with God’s mercy and His love.
