We must walk with God in faith, trusting and believing that He will give us the victory. It may take a while, but rest assured, that in God’s own time, He will right whatever wrong we are experiencing. All we need to do is to take one step at a time, trusting in Him completely. A song comes to my mind, “Lord help me to
take one day at a time.” It was a favorite song of my first pastor, Reverend Edward L Satchell and his wife, Irene. Every time I hear that song, I think of them. I give God praise for their lives and their willingness to take one step at a time. In Deuteronomy 7:22, we find these words:

“The LORD your God will drive those nations out ahead of you little by little. You will not clear them away all at once, otherwise the wild animals would multiply too quickly for you.”

The Israelites gradually began to occupy and control the land. The blessings did not come overnight, but little by little, God granted them blessings from on high. We may be weak, but we should not be afraid. God was with our fathers, and He is also with us. Sometimes fear paralyzes faith. However, we should never let fear take dominion over faith, for faith is stronger than fear. We must always remember that God is with us and will fight our battles. He will be with us step by step. We need to take one step of faith and trust Him completely. He will do what is necessary and the victory will be ours. All we have to do is take one step at a time — and trust Him!
