Not Lost In The Crowd

There are times when we may feel that God does not see us. When burdens and problems mount, we may feel alone and wonder where God is. And when God blesses others while we remain in our same situation, we sometimes wonder if He has forgotten about us. We tend to feel like we are lost in the crowd and He does not recognize us. But God is aware of us, regardless of the size of the crowd surrounding us. None of us are ever lost or out of His sight.  In Luke 19:5, we find these words:

“When Jesus came by, He looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. ‘Zacchaeus!’ He said. ‘Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.’”

Because of his height and the large size of the crowd, Zacchaeus climbed the tree so that he could catch a glimpse of Jesus, whom he wanted to see very much. Jesus looked up and saw a small man in stature hiding in a sycamore tree. Jesus saw Zacchaeus and told him to come down. Imagine that! Some even witnessed Jesus going with Zacchaeus and bringing salvation into his house. What a wonderful story! We should never feel that the Lord does not know us or is not concerned about us. We are never out of His sight. He will find us no matter where we are. Know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God cares for us, and we are never lost from His sight.
